Japanese-Style Trestle Bench
A long, heavy bench with through-tenons and wedged stretchers. No metal fasteners.
Everything is held together by two wedged through-tenons per side and a stretcher locked with a tusk wedge, so the whole bench knocks down flat for moving.
What I’d do differently
Sharpen more often, measure twice, and leave the finish until the next morning instead of rushing it at midnight.
